the fish is great at ocean ave best around . but the service is not

Went on strength of reviews friday night perhaps it was to busy for only two servers. Perhaps I'm spoiled by customer service at some places where they check back to see how your doing and whether you need more water or your drink refilled but that didn't happen here. Perhaps I'm spoiled by Coney and Moby's fish and chip portions but what we got was just average. At least it wasn't a fish patty like Denny's serves. Burger was ok and fries almost as good as White Spots. Don't know if were going back......

We have been getting our fish and chips from this couple for 25 years. We have yet to find anywhere else with anything better. The Cod is just as good if not better than the Halibut. I don't eat fish normally, but eat 2 huge pieces of their Cod.

Best fish and chips Ive ever tasted. Never greasy and no trans fat. I always have the halibut , never tried the cod though.A real treat.

Best fish and chips in the lower mainland. Hands down. Never greasy, always amazing.

Love this place! Portions are generous, prices are reasonable and the fish is never too greasy (they hand blot it to remove excess oil). Everyone is always polite and friendly.
